A celebrated surgeon faces a brutal homecoming ambush when her father sends three brothers to force a marriage choice and deny her birthright.
Chief surgeon Ava Carter lands after a São Paulo lecture expecting her father Edward's welcome, only to be intercepted at the school gate by Derek and Ethan Langston. They shatter her mother's pocket watch, stomp her right hand unconscious, and beat Professor Charles when he intervenes. Pierce arrives later and chokes Ava, snapping her already broken hand. All three brothers insist she is an impostor despite her claims to the Carter Group heirship. Even when her assistant Arthur produces the family power ring, they accuse him of collusion. Ava uncovers their hospital profiteering through Charles's intelligence, but the brothers persist in denial until Edward finally appears to confirm her identity. The confrontation shifts from physical survival to institutional exposure as Ava moves to reveal their crimes.
