A desert-raised heiress battles impostors and climate disasters at a survival academy to claim her only accessible inheritance.
Raised in the arid expanse of Rattlesnake Valley, Vera marks adulthood by learning she belongs to the Sterling dynasty. The revelation brings no immediate relief; Bluepeak Group demands ten million credits instantly. An eighty-million trust sits frozen for seven years, leaving a survival certification at Belmont Academy as the sole path to three million credits. On campus, she contends with Celine, a rival determined to usurp her birthright, while navigating lethal wildfires and engineered water scarcity. Every trial pushes Vera toward a choice between the valley that shaped her and the legacy thrust upon her.
