A woman flees after her fiancé joins his friend in weaponizing her lost sense of taste.
A sudden fever erases Anna's ability to taste, and Chloe immediately exploits the vulnerability by designing meals intended to disgust. Ethan, her fiancé, does not intervene; he records each humiliation and echoes Chloe's claim that the abuse constitutes therapy. The escalation reaches a peak at Anna's birthday party when Chloe presents cheese infested with maggots while Ethan laughs behind the camera. A final revolting drinking game breaks Anna's endurance, and she vanishes before dawn. Ethan waits for her return, unaware that a medical report has already confirmed the permanent damage their cruelty inflicted.
