A discarded woman confronts her arrogant ex, who remains blind to her dangerous new husband.
Adrian Vance humiliated Elena by claiming she lacked the sophistication for his elite circle, then paraded a childhood friend as his replacement within hours. Six years later, a chance meeting at an amusement park finds him sneering at Elena and her daughter sharing discounted hot dogs, certain she remains stuck in the modest life he predicted. His taunts land differently this time; Elena now moves in the orbit of a formidable don whose protection carries lethal consequences for anyone threatening his family. The tension hinges on Adrian's total ignorance of the power structure now shielding the woman he still dismisses.
