A former outlaw turned locksmith teams with a master of disguise to solve a decades-old gold heist.
Isabella honors her mentor Ron Taylor's deathbed plea by trading revolvers for lock picks in a dusty 1880 settlement. A violent quarrel over buried treasure shatters her peace, forcing her into an uneasy alliance with Micah, a chameleon-like thief whose allegiances shift with every disguise. Their investigation into a missing federal payroll from twenty years prior draws the Soren crime family, the Gray Feather gang, and a corrupt politician with his mistress into a tightening net. Caught between vengeance, truth, and the moral code she swore to uphold, Isabella pushes toward completing the mission her mentor left unfinished.
