Publicly humiliated by her mayor husband, a woman vanishes and returns transformed to upend the town's hierarchy.
The mayor's relentless ridicule over his wife's size and his ultimate betrayal force her into exile. Her absence creates a vacuum filled by her startling return, physically remade and radiating an unshakable composure that instantly silences the community's cruel chorus. As she navigates familiar streets, her mere presence acts as a wrecking ball to the established social order, stripping the mayor of his unchallenged authority and dragging long-concealed truths into the harsh light of day.
