A former assassin drugs a crime lord to save their son, igniting his long-awaited vengeance.
Ruth, once the deadliest operative in the shadows, vanished after a compromised mission left her carrying Aaron Hall's child. Now six years later, their son Ben faces leukemia, and a sibling's cord blood is the sole cure. She infiltrates Wilton alone, targeting the notoriously celibate heir with a calculated drugging, blind to the fact that the man who rules the underworld has spent half a decade tracing her every breath. When her cover shatters, his rage triggers a citywide dragnet, yet his fury twists into a terrifying possessiveness that upends every power dynamic in the city.
