A dragon prince hunts his unknown lover while she hides beside him as his sworn knight.
Aurora strays onto palace grounds forbidden to all but royalty and witnesses Prince Xavier surrender to a black dragon's primal urge, sharing a night neither can forget. By morning she is gone, and Xavier scours the realm for the woman who answered his beast's call. Every lead converges on Auren, the loyal knight pledged to the prince's safety. Aurora maintains her masculine disguise at Xavier's side, performing court duties while his investigation tightens around her true identity. The tension builds from the collision of instinctual desire and deliberate deception, with a kingdom's eyes watching a knight who may be the very quarry the prince seeks.
