A controller with a secret pilot past boards a failing airliner to save it, only to be framed for the disaster.
Kayla Shaw sits in a radar room, her elite Air Force wings folded into silence. When Flight WA-718 shows the unmistakable signature of catastrophic engine failure, she sounds the alarm. Captain Clayton and administrator Vera dismiss her expertise as a personal grudge, a fatal arrogance that costs them the left engine moments after wheels-up. The explosion tears open the fuselage, forcing Kayla onto the stricken jet for a desperate high-altitude boarding. She wrestles the burning aircraft through chaos, guiding it down through skill the crew denied she possessed. Justice proves elusive; the crisis ends with Kayla branded the villain while the truth about the sabotage waits in the wreckage.
